Is it time for your iPhone 12 Pro?
The iPhone 12 Pro launched in 2020. A phone from that year still on its first battery has usually been through several hundred charge cycles, which is where shutdowns at 20–30% and afternoon recharging tend to start. It is still a capable phone — a new battery is usually what it needs to feel normal again.
Check Settings › Battery › Battery Health. Below 80%, or a message about performance management, means a new battery will make a real difference. How to read it.
